The main features, of a topographical map are: The Contour intervals- Indicate the distance between each contour line, The Contour line- Indicates the height of the land, Vegetation- Forests, etc, Buildings- Airports, houses, etc, and lastly, a topographical map has to show lakes, rivers, streams, swamps, etc.
